great central spot for city strolls and local attractions
We enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch with the best roast beef I've had in a long time, and the handy location made it easy to visit nearby attractions like the beautiful Gwydir Castle and the scenic Sappers Suspension Bridge during our stay.

Good for a family getaway
We enjoyed a lovely room that was warm and comfy, a real surprise when you’re expecting something 'meh'. And the food, wow! ! My partner had this amazing pie and chips that was huge and tasted just right!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was manageable.

Beautiful scenery, but lacks service
Gorgeous views and a chill vibe, but the staff weren’t super helpful when I had questions. The double room was comfy enough, and I enjoyed the bar area for a quick drink. Just a heads up, the cleanliness could use some work. I was bummed to find out some main areas were closed during my stay.

I visited Swallow Falls Hotel for a night with my partner and two small kids. We had a family room that was surprisingly spacious and clean, which made it comfortable for all of us. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but it added to the charm of the hotel, giving it that cozy country pub feel. The bar area was really nice—warm and inviting, along with friendly staff who chatted with us. Dinner at the restaurant was good and affordable. Breakfast was included, and we all enjoyed that as well. The location is fantastic, right across from the falls and near great walking trails and shops. the noise from the upper floor was quite noticeable, which disrupted our sleep a bit. I think it’s a great spot for a family getaway. I’d definitely consider coming back, especially for the reasonable price we paid.

A cozy retreat for adventures
The location was a dream! After long hikes, we relaxed in the comfortable lodge, with a great breakfast fueling us for our next day of exploring.
The walls were quite thin, making it challenging to ignore conversations from neighboring rooms—definitely not ideal for light sleepers.
