    amazing lunch
    handy location

great central spot for city strolls and local attractions

We enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch with the best roast beef I've had in a long time, and the handy location made it easy to visit nearby attractions like the beautiful Gwydir Castle and the scenic Sappers Suspension Bridge during our stay.

    Good for a family getaway

We enjoyed a lovely room that was warm and comfy, a real surprise when you’re expecting something 'meh'. And the food, wow! ! My partner had this amazing pie and chips that was huge and tasted just right!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was manageable.

    Beautiful scenery, but lacks service

Gorgeous views and a chill vibe, but the staff weren’t super helpful when I had questions. The double room was comfy enough, and I enjoyed the bar area for a quick drink. Just a heads up, the cleanliness could use some work. I was bummed to find out some main areas were closed during my stay.

    cozy atmosphere
    good food
    fantastic location
    noise disturbance
    outdated decor

I visited Swallow Falls Hotel for a night with my partner and two small kids. We had a family room that was surprisingly spacious and clean, which made it comfortable for all of us. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, but it added to the charm of the hotel, giving it that cozy country pub feel. The bar area was really nice—warm and inviting, along with friendly staff who chatted with us. Dinner at the restaurant was good and affordable. Breakfast was included, and we all enjoyed that as well. The location is fantastic, right across from the falls and near great walking trails and shops. the noise from the upper floor was quite noticeable, which disrupted our sleep a bit. I think it’s a great spot for a family getaway. I’d definitely consider coming back, especially for the reasonable price we paid.

This place suits me perfectly! Free wi-fi, a lovely bar, and friendly staff made my stay wonderful. I especially remember how they assisted my elderly parents. Highly recommend for a pleasant visit. I'm excited to come back for a city trip!

Had a lovely time! The location near the waterfalls was the highlight for me 🌊. The pub’s cozy atmosphere was nice, but breakfast could've been fresher.

    comfortable lodge
    thin walls

    A cozy retreat for adventures

The location was a dream! After long hikes, we relaxed in the comfortable lodge, with a great breakfast fueling us for our next day of exploring.

The walls were quite thin, making it challenging to ignore conversations from neighboring rooms—definitely not ideal for light sleepers.

    rustic bar
    delicious food
    historical atmosphere
    long walk
    lack of soundproofing

My stay was delightful and exactly what I needed for a quick getaway. The rustic bar added a nice touch to the historical atmosphere, while the food was a real highlight, fueling my day of exploring nearby attractions. One downside was the long walk into town, especially after a long day, but the charming surroundings made up for it.
